Our story

The beginning

A small idea, carried from the Cape.

Some rituals need no explanation. From when he was a toddler, a cup of rooibos has been the quiet anchor in Wesley’s day - a grounding presence so constant it’s hard to remember a time without it. Years later in Paris, when he met Maggie, that ritual took on a new shape. He introduced her to rooibos; she loved it instantly, and a solitary comfort became a shared one - a warm pot on the table through cold Parisian winters. When Maggie moved back to Hong Kong, they brought this tradition with them, only to find the city’s heat called for something more refreshing: something cold, bright, and healthy, with a little lift of bubbles.

That longing became FineBush. Born from South Africa’s ancient fynbos and crafted for Hong Kong’s fast-paced city life, FineBush is a sparkling rooibos and honeybush tea that turns any moment into a quiet act of indulgence - naturally caffeine‑free, gently sweet, rich in anti‑oxidants, and free from the usual compromises. This is not a functional beverage. It is not a special‑occasion splurge. It is the luxury you deserve, any moment, every single day.

Why Hong Kong

Made for the rhythm of a fast city.

Hong Kong is a city of moments between moments - the mid-morning walk, the lunch that has to be short, the rooftop hour after work. We designed FineBush for these in-between spaces: sparkling enough to feel considered, soft enough to drink any time, and caffeine-free so you decide when your day ends.

Every can is brewed and finished in Hong Kong, from a small batch factory in Kwai Hing. It is a quiet thing - and that is the point.

The promise
